Christopher Meredith from Leeds College of Building has been awarded BTEC Student of the Year 2019 for his consistent effort to turn his life around. Chris returned to college to re-study, and now communicates with project teams all around the world, and is instrumental in solving complex civil engineering problems for Jacobs Engineering. In March, Chris gained the Institution of Civil Engineer’s Quest Technician Scholarship – awarded to Apprentices of only the highest calibre.

Myint Myat Soe, a student at Gusto College, Myanmar, was awarded the BTEC International Student of the Year 2017 award.
